I bought Twinkie pans this weekend and am going to give it a try. They come with a cream filling recipe that is already GF.

I am trying to decide between using Freedberg's Best Yellow Cake mix and Sherene's Hot water Sponge Cake Recipe.

Has anyone tried either and could comment on how they would compare to Twinkies in taste and texture.

My six year old is REALLY missing Twinkies, so I am praying this will be a success.

I got the Cream Canoe Pans (i.e. Twinkie Pans) on sale at an Outlet mall for 9.99 so I was excited about that!

, Where did you find the Twinkie's pan? Would you mind sharing the filling recipe with the group?
