I have the canon ixus digital for stills, it's great, but am looking for a digital video camera, so PLEASE do tell me what dv camera you found!! I have just more or less handed the 's (my kids, the parents of Rafi Ratbag ) my old video camera so that when they go back to Israel on Sunday (sob wail! I will miss them so much!) they can send us and the other grandparents videos. Ruthie > -- > Sue

There is a way to make them bigger - that's what I did but I can't remember what it was. Will ask DH when he gets home. I think it's the sort of thing anyone is supposed to know how to do on their pooter so someone else on here may be able to help. > Also is there *any* way that *any* > laptop screen can be visible out of doors Don't know/haven't found one. SOmetimes I have downloaded my email and sat outside reading but it's not always successful, unless I am well under the shade on the deck. > video camera, so PLEASE do tell me what dv camera you found!! It's the DCR-PC5, I think. Check out http://www.supremevideo.com/Camcorders/sony/dcrpc5.htm Since I couldn't afford it, I just caressed it a little in the shop, looked at the price. It was the smallest one there I shall be deeply envious if you buy one. -- Sue

Get th firewire connector - should slot into the smallest hole on the LHS of your vaio - just up from where the PCMCIA card slots in. My friend's DH went bananas when he saw my vaio for the first time - got out their camera and had it hooked up in seconds showing me vieo on-screen of their daughters' birthday party. -- Sue
