When I am typing in Word I also have big typeface but the actual icons

on the main screen are miniscule. Also is there *any* way that *any*

laptop screen can be visible out of doors? I sometimes take mine with

on trips, thinking I'll do some writing while the grandchildren play,

for example, but daylight is always too bright for me to see the

screen.

My novels, whilst certainly not making me enough money to live on, do

bring in some " toys " money which is mine to spend. I have the canon

ixus digital for stills, it's great, but am looking for a digital

video camera, so PLEASE do tell me what dv camera you found!! I have

just more or less handed the 's (my kids, the parents of Rafi

Ratbag ) my old video camera so that when they go back to Israel on

Sunday (sob wail! I will miss them so much!) they can send us and the

other grandparents videos.

There is a way to make them bigger - that's what I did but I can't

remember what it was. Will ask DH when he gets home. I think it's

the sort of thing anyone is supposed to know how to do on their pooter

so someone else on here may be able to help.

Don't know/haven't found one. SOmetimes I have downloaded my email

and sat outside reading but it's not always successful, unless I am

well under the shade on the deck.

It's the DCR-PC5, I think.

Check out

Since I couldn't afford it, I just caressed it a little in the shop,

looked at the price. It was the smallest one there

I shall be deeply envious if you buy one.

Get th firewire connector - should slot into the smallest hole on the

LHS of your vaio - just up from where the PCMCIA card slots in.

My friend's DH went bananas when he saw my vaio for the first time -

got out their camera and had it hooked up in seconds showing me vieo

on-screen of their daughters' birthday party.
