Hello , I know it is a form of healing and that is about as much as I

know.... I had the notion it had to do with chakras.... thank you for the

link.... my sister and aunt tell me is really expensive ..... Margaritas

insurance ran out and she is now on medical. I doubt the insurance would've

pay for reiki ... and I know medi-cal will not.....but I will look for more

info... thank you again....

My aunt has been trained to do this, however, she does not place her hands

on a person. I don't think, I would have to ask her how it is done, if you

like.

She swears buy it. She lives in Washington, if you like I can ask her if

she knows of anybody who does it where you are.

She learned it while living up here in Alaska, working at the Native

hospital.

I am a Reiki Master Teacher and can offer you this

information. First yes please pursue Reiki. It is very

powerful and beneficial. I now receive work every week

at a minimum, and it helps a great deal.

It doesn't have to be costly. There are clinics all

over the place, and many practitioners also work at

sliding scale in their private practices. I started a

Reiki-based Support Group for People with Cancer last

year (before I knew about me) in which people come for

treatments and to learn to share their healing gifts

with one another. It is free and has been wonderful.

You may find similar in your town.

About what it is:

Reiki is

a gentle, powerful, non-invasive method for healing

which works at the source of any unwellness and also

helps us feel better on the spot. The most popular

form of Reiki is similar to the laying on of hands.

It is a guiding of universal, springing, motivating

life forces ('ki', also know as ‘chi’) that ignites or

enhances our innate ability to heal. Reiki is offered

through directed touch. The client rests, clothed,

while the practitioner quietly places hands on or near

the head, neck, torso, limbs, and feet. Clients may

notice renewed peace, insight, pain relief, energy,

zip; increased robustness, mobility, effectiveness.

Studies note that healing with Reiki is deep and

thorough and can speed the healing process.

Reiki will address whatever condition is present and

move systems toward maximum wellness: allergies,

aches; depression, grief; fractures, arthritis,

fibromyalgia; endocrine or circulatory troubles, 'a

bug;' trauma, bewilderment - Reiki urges individual

wholeness and vitality into expression. Likewise,

Reiki blends its nature with all practices for

well-being and health care. Reiki will beautifully

support people engaged with birthing and with dying.

The essence of Reiki is this: as Love does, Reiki

meets matters as they are. Reiki sees mind, body,

heart, and situation as already whole, doesn't forget

that way of seeing, and offers the power of that

vision to all.

Anyone can learn to use this powerful and natural

tool.

Reiki is uplifting, rich, and personal, unfolding for

each of us individually. We (of Reiki And Then Reiki

in land and Massachusettes) invite you to come and

share your purposefulness, love, and awareness with

the whole world even more, through Reiki.

And I can teach you at long distance, it is no

problem. You can start working right away with your

aunts.

much love,

e
