Mastectomy house cleaning!

Mastectomy is scheduled for Tuesday Oct 3rd. This will be my third

breast cancer surgery in 4 months (positive margins twice). Needless

to say, I've been a bit anxious so I have cleaned out every cabinet,

closet, and drawer in the house! Let's see how much my anxiety

increases, the only thing left is the garage. What a way to get the

house in order. I think I'll go shopping today, maybe I can tidy up

the store.

Wow, you can come over and do mine. I did not have as much energy as you. I

was pretty stunned at the time but I never was a house cleaning person anyway.

Hi, a -

I thought I was the only one who did this. Not so much cleaning, but

tidying, sorting, filling the freezer, ironing shirts, getting jobs done

before the surgery. Just like the last weeks of pregnancy <G>.

I looked at myself doing it, and found it went like this: I don't know how

fit I will be afterwards, so I'd better get ahead of myself just in case ...

hello ladies,

I hope everyone is in good spirits. I have been

alittle better. I have to admit that when I am anxious

I do the same. I clean and the kids and my husband get

angry at me, because I need to relax. Then I am down

for the count. I hope all goes well with the surgery,

and I pray that it is the last one. Good luck and god
