Today has not been a good day - I checked my email this morning to find that

a friend of mine had a mastectomy for breast cancer last week - then I got a

phone call this afternoon. My pastor's wife has been diagnosed with breast

cancer. Two in one day - two too many. When I was talking with Angie this

afternoon, it brought back a lot of memories for me and I'm 3 years and 9

months out from diagnosis. I knew that you would understand.

Hi Gail, I am so sorry to hear about your friend and pastor's wife. Please ask

them to join us. Even though I had my surgery 16 1/2 yrs ago it still bothers me

when I find out about a friend/acquaintance that is going through breast cancer.

They will be in my prayers as well as you.

Hugs

Gail, this is Colleen from Mn also sorry to hear that you have 2

more friends in the same boat we are in. When I was diagnosed 3

years ago I had a total of 6 friends all going thru some type of

breast cancer related treatment yes that is to many. I have been

lucky in that we are all still able to live our lives but with a

different outlook on life. my prayers are going out to you and your

two friends that they also have the good results and be able to say

they are 3 years from diagnoses.

God bless you Gail,

Colleen
