You are right, six hours is a bit of a hike. At least it is

something. Maybe now that FDA approval has happened a few more

doctors will get on the band wagon so to speak.

Cath

<< I am scared, I know as any other parent would be, to have my

son go through the surgery. I think he is beautiful just the way he is but,

unfortunately, in the world we live in it is important to give our kids a

chance to look like everyone else. He is very mature for his age and he

knows that he wants 2 ears. >>

,

Dominic is lucky to have a mom like you! He sounds like a great kid. My son

Brayden is only 18 months old so I haven't faced the teasing, but there are

stares and questioning looks. I understand the bittersweet feelings you must

be having about the surgery. I know I will feel the same when it comes time

for Brayden's. I also think my son is beautiful just the way he is, but yes

I also feel in this world we need to give them a chance to have 2 typical

ears. Again wishing you all the best for the upcoming surgery.

Autumn

P.S. By the way anyone that ventures to Southern CA while seeing Dr. Brent

or for any reason I'd love to meet up with you. Let me know. :)

, I'm so terribly sorry to hear of your Grandfather's passing. You are

correct -- he is now with God and all pain is gone. I will pray for you and

your family as you go through this difficult period.
