Guest guest
Tina, Sorry to hear that Blake is so sick. I'm sure it is not what you had pictured for is first Christmas. Is the throwing up related to the sinus infection? Do you think he is tolerating the switch to formula well? Hope he feels better soon! Guest guest
I am pretty sure that the throwing up is related to the sinus infection. Since it only happened in the night and in the morning, the Dr and I agreed that it was from his sinuses draining into his stomach during the night. HE seems to be a little better today. He has been checking out the new toys today and hasn't been sleeping so much. I hope we're on the up-swing. Thanks for your concern. Guest guest
Thanks Amy Lynn, I have been giving him baths every night with Aveeno oatmeal in it and using tons of Desitin with every changing. We just have to wait for the diarrhea to stop before the rash will really go away. Guest guest
> HE ahs a terrible diaper rash from the diarrhea. Abby had the flu right before Thanksgiving and she had diarrhea for a solid week. I was using the regular ointments at first and they were not doing a thing. Then I used a diaper ointment made by " burt's bee's " and by the next couple of diaper changes she was mildly pink. I highly recommend this product. It can be purchased online or at local health food stores. They have a whole lot of adult products and a whole line of kid products. Its called the " baby bee collection " . There is also a place on their site that tells you where you can buy it locally. I have no affiliation with this company at all, except I'm addicted to their products! -Jen ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ http://www.TheElliotts.org I believe that what is right is not always popular and what is popular is not always right. Guest guest
Thanks Jen, I had been using Desitin and Balmex and they weren't doing anything. I bought some Aveeno ointment yesterday (the oatmeal brand) and after one application the rash was so much better! I'll keep the other brand in mind for next time. Guest guest
Definitely do...its really an awesome product. I wish they had little sample tubes that they could give out so that people could see how great a product this is. Just because it isnt marketed in main-stream media does not make it a bad product. Not that you said that at all...I'm just sort of on a tangent. > Thanks Jen, > I had been using Desitin and Balmex and they weren't doing anything. Guest guest
Tina, Nursing often can prevent dehydration. Beyond that time--hope you are doing better this weekend.
