Hi Kerry,

Are you sure its the hypo insert? The other moms who mentioned it all

got it only after they had problems with the standard material used by

starband. I'm curious why your ortho would have requested it the first

time?

I don't know how informed your ortho is, so she may be 100% right. but

I know that with the starband/ortomerica the experience of the ortho

varies widely. is it possible she just thinks the material is

hypoalergenic and that she doesn'tknow they have an alternate material?

I don't want to criticize starbands - we have one that is working very

well. its just that it seems funny you would already have the hypo one

- unless for some reason she knew your son would have a problem with

the standard material.

i guess it is just something to consider if you see a problem when you

put it back on.

i hope he does better this time.
