Guest guest
Actually Lori Anne, I just gave them up because I couldn't stand the taste if they were halved. I have just stuck to water for now. Gave up my diet vanilla coke too. I guess I'll try other things some day but right now, it is easier for me to stick with the diet this way because I'm too tempted to do other things. I drink about a gallon of water a day anyway so I don't really get thirsty for other stuff. Thanks for the tip though! :-) Are you anxious for your big day? in TX Re: Hello from a new member ... Remember all Juices must be 50% juice and 50% water to make them more tolerable. Lori Anne pre-op Lap RNY 8/25/
Guest guest
Hi If the water is working for you, that is TERRIFIC Definately the healthiest thing to do But if you ever do get the urge for Gatorade, you might want to try Propel which is made by Gatorade but is sweetened with Splenda. There are very few calories in it and a little carbs. Hoping this helps Caroline Lap RNY 5/2/03 367/313/150 www.tinyurl.com/bkld > Actually Lori Anne, I just gave them up because I couldn't stand the > taste if they were halved. Guest guest
Hi, Lori Anne! Wow, thanks for the wonderful compliments. That's so sweet of you to say. I've been through many hard times in my past (even in my short 26 years) and I find it's better to chin up and get over things than to dwell in misery. Onward ho! ~smiles~ My first day back was the toughest. I was really tired and worn out when I got home. Went straight to bed. It's gotten easier since then. It's really amazing ... but you will. ~laughs~ It's hard to believe how little you'll eat until you are there. Anytime, Lori Anne! My email's always open! Re: Hello from a new member ... Hi You are so wonderful and a really good role model. WOW only one week off sheesh you are a dynamo too. I have an office sit down type of job too so I will see how I feel after a week. I would really like to go to Disney this December so maybe I can conserve that week LOL. But then again you are an extraordinary person as far as recovery goes. I really don't want to throw up or feel nauseous or any of that. I pretty much right now have a cast iron tummy can eat anything basically so I hope that still holds true after surgery. Right now I can't even imagine being full on 4 oz of food LOL but soon think of the money I will save on food while on vacation LOL. My daughter and I can split plates all the time hahaha because after 2-3 tablespoons I will be DONE stick a fork in me LOL. Thank you for sharing your experiences with me a lowly pre-op LOL I'm not worthy hehe Take Care and stay so upbeat Lori Anne pre-op Lap RNY 8/25/
