Losing weight should keep you motivated. Just think about those " skinny " clothes you will soon be buying. I don't know how you are exercising now, but if you walk 10 minutes 2 or 3 times a day that will help a lot. Another idea, when you are exercising, don't think of it as exercise, think of it as " my time " . I just got back from a 30 minute walk and I feel so much better. I listened to the birds, watched the cows in the field, talked to my dog. Even though I was walking, it was relaxing to me. I do all kinds of day dreaming when I'm walking. I plan a meal, I think of how I want to change things around in our house, how I want to do my flower gardens this spring. When you feel you are losing the momentum, let me know and I'll give you more ideas. hugs Eunice - where it is warm weather again.

Guest guest
Hi all~ I just want to thank you for your support, especially Eunice, since my diagnosis (Type 2) in January. I had my 1st follow up appointment since being diagnosed: I've lost 20 pounds. My AC1 went from 7% to 6.6% My doctor wants me to increase my exercise from 1 or 2 days a week to 5 days a week. With this said, I feel I'm losing my momentum. I find it so hard to stay motivated. Anyhow, I hope everyone is doing well. Sheila
