I've always been flatulent, but I've blamed it on my bean-heavy vegetarian diet. I did eat meat for six months last year and this year to see if it made a difference in my health. There was just one . . . . . . and OOOOH, boy! That gas was nasty! So, this doesn't really answer your question, but don't feel dumb. It's a great question. And for the record, my non-celiac husband blames his farts on the dog, but the dog's farts (which make one's eyes blister) are nowhere near as bad as my beloved husband's. ygg

Guest guest
> There is a HUGE difference in output depending on diet - the stench > from the diapers used to be a clear sign my son had had a soy > ingestion. *For us* gas normally has little to no order. I am borderline lactose intolerant. If I ingest a large quantity of dairy without taking anything, the smell is atrocious. Or if I have an extremely high fiber meal, I get stinky gas that just keeps coming. However, on a regular basis mine isn't any worse than all the non-celiacs I know! In fact, the other night my husband (non-celiac) had bad gas, farted on the couch, and said we better move to another room for a bit! He was right, when we came back there was still a lingering scent. I asked him what he ate for lunch!! ~
