Guest guest
I used to enjoy the "crispy coat" french fries that many restaurants (including several I worked at) served. However, they were coated with regular white flour to make them crispy... So, Im sitting her tonite, and thinking, I really want some crispy coats, how can I make them GF...Simple! Potato starch flour! I seasoned up the flour, rolled a bunch of par boiled taters and fried as usual . YUMMY!Just used seasoning to my taste, took an extra 3 minutes to mix up the coating and one extra dish.... Did Garlic and Pepper tonite... Maybe Cajun next time... (can you tell Im getting tired of traditional finnish boiled potatos?)Have fun, let us know your happy experiments!Best!Cassi
Guest guest
That does sound yummy for our dinner tonight! We got tired of eating our waffles from a mix, so I, also, experimented. Before adding the dry to wet, I mixed in one TBS. sour cream and 3 TBS. canned pumpkin into the wet mix and then added the dry. We make waffles from this. The boys want to eat them all in one sitting. Thanks for sharing. Lauretta I used to enjoy the " crispy coat " french fries that many restaurants (including several I worked at) served. Guest guest
Just think of all the possibilities! I am yet to come up with a good biscuit mix. After all, we are southerners. LOL. Just remember to add spice to your mix if you do not put in your canned goods when canning. >> That does sound yummy for our dinner tonight!
