Guest guest
I take LDN for MS. Monthly cycles have become regular as clockwork. NO PMS. Others haven't had the same luck, but I think it's related to hormones not being balanced, not LDN. I take 30mg Pregnenolone & 25mg DHEA also. A good read might be Suzanne Summer's new book Ageless. It gets into the bio-identical hormones. I didn't realize that she was named in the lawsuit attempt where big pharma & the FDA were trying to get compounders shut down. She's trying to get people to pay attention. Marcie cathi <ladyzemail@...> wrote: Hi all! My sister (41 yrs old) has recently been perscribed LDN for pms. I have never heard of this. Have been reading up on it online. I can't find anything about taking LDN for pms. Has anyone been given this for pms? She is already taking Seroquel and Cymbalta. Could she be over medicated? Just curious.Thank you, any advice or answers would be appreciated.

Guest guest
I understand that Premarin is made with pregnant mare's urine. I wouldn't want that! From what I understand though, bio-identical hormones, made by a compounder, are most like human hormones. What's wrong with these? I know two people who take them and have had real good results. The decrease in hormones, male or female, begins before menopause. Marcie Cyndi Lenz <psychrn@...> wrote: its a very big deal ! Guest guest
there is nothing wrong with them and everything right with them. BioIdentical Hormones are made for the specific person. The issue is is that the drug company that makes Premerin is loosing money big time.cyndiOn Oct 18, 2006, at 1:04 PM, Marcie wrote: I understand that Premarin is made with pregnant mare's urine. Guest guest
Hello group, I'm very new to the club, just joining today. I found this site through the book The Late Talker. Just a little info on myself. My name is Pam and I have a 21 month old son. At 18 months we noticed he was not talking, pretty much everyone we know told us not to worry; we followed our guts and had an early intervention evaluation done. As a result, he started a language school with group therapy last month. In addition to non-talking, our son also has a serious focus/attention issue. He is developing great in all other areas, it's just communication we are noticing that is a problem. We are learning quite a bit and we just had our one month Parent Teacher conference and they said that our son was really doing well and they will observe some more before ordering any OT therapy or one on one therapy. She was very clear to point out that our son does in fact have a language disorder but it's a little too early for them to classify which one. Over some time, they said they will be able to tell. I'm reading up on all the speech/language disorders to see if there are any clues. My husband and I are seriously thinking about using a fish oil supplement. We came to this decision based on reading a lot of things in the book and reading things online. My question is, if we start using Fish Oil and we see results, can we stop using the fish oil or is this something we will have to incorporate in his diet for the long haul? I guess I am asking, can he ever get off fish oil after being on it with success and see the same results or will he be dependent on it. Sorry so long! Guest guest
Thank you for the reply. I figured it may have to be an on-going thing. Are there any long-time users out there that may know this answer? Also, I think I may look into a nutritionist for his diet and my husband and I wondered if 21-22 months is too soon to start fish oils? > > " Will he ever get off the oils " > > Good question Pam. Given ours are delayed with language development it would make sense that they need the EFA's more, even after age 7. > > It also seems that everyone, with a western diet maybe, should be using omega oils as we seemed to have an imbalance or deficit. So maybe by the time our children are grown-up it will be something that we all take anyway, bit like extra vits in our cereals. BTW my husband was saying he read somewhere that Omega oils in bread was such a waste of time as 50% was lost and you needed so much of it to make a difference. So, yes, perhaps the only way will be capsules of the oil. > > I'd like to hear from those that have been using it for many years and there comments. > > Regards > > > UK Mummy to 8 and Rory 6, with verbal dyspraxia, both deaf with CI. > > > [ ] Newbie with a question > > > > > >
