I just had to share this with you.

The other day my sister was here and I was helping her with a project for her

master's class. At some point during this, decided to sit at the table

with us. She asked my sister some questions about what we were doing. Then she

" had " to tell Aunt Pam something. Then another question about something else.

My sister answered the question and repeated what she thought she heard

her say. Pam chuckled to herself and corrected what heard. Then ,

as plain as day, looks at Aunt Pam and says " You know, sometimes I have trouble

hearing things " . Pam thought that was the cutest thing (well we both did) and

told her that she knew she had trouble sometimes, but that it was ok to let her

know.

It amazes me sometimes what comes out of her mouth. She couldn't have a

better attitude about her hearing loss. And just when I start to worry about

her future, she'll do something like this just to show me that it will be

ok...she'll be fine.
