For those of you who knew Carrey Nielsen when she worked here with us at

Humana from 1997- 1999, it is with deep sadness that I pass along this

information. Her son Logan passed away early Wednesday morning. A

copy of the obituary is included here. I have a card at my desk if you are

interested in signing and/or interested in contributing toward a group

donation to the Millridge Center. I have also included her home address.

Please pass along to anyone you may be aware of who knew Carrey and who is

not included on this distribution.

Logan Nielsen, 22 month old, first born son of Leif and Carrey

Nielsen, big brother of Owen Spencer, all of Lyndhurst, grandson to Svend

and Nielson, formerly of South , and Rick and Pat Perkins,

and the late Ginger Perkins of Canton, died September 12, 2001 at 1:14 a.m.

in Cleveland, OH. was afflicted by a rare strain of strepneumococal

bacteria that consumed his body in a matter of days. Logan leaves

behind family and friends whose existence will be enriched for a lifetime

due to his relatively short stint on earth. Logan enjoyed smiling,

laughing, blowing kisses, books, and playing with his Mommy and Daddy.

's personality exemplified happiness. He loved to tease and please and

the world is a better place for having him in it. Funeral services will be

conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd.

N.W., with Pastor Jeffery S. Whytsell officiating. Burial will be in Sunset

Hills Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 1-4 p.m. In

lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Millridge Center,

Parent Teacher Group, Hearing Aid Fund, 950 Millridge Rd., Highland

Heights, OH 44143.
