Hi All,

A person sent me the following email and I'd like to hear your reaction.

>>My sister and nephew have CD and they both have had amazing results with acupuncture and the NAET treatment. <<

My thoughts are that while they may have some relief from the outward reactions to gluten, there can still be inside damage. I asked the person if the sister and nephew were tested since having the treatment, but she hasn't answered yet.

Have any of you read about this or tried it?

I'd rather just not eat gluten... I don't miss it at all.

================

My entire family has had NAET. My son was severely developmentally

delayed and the neurologist and therapist told us that he would

probably never walk and would be retarded. I took him to a chiro who

specialises in Contact reflex analysis and NAET. She tested him and

said he was allergic to the B vits, minerals and a few other things.

It was nothing short of miraculous seeing how the lights went on and

he lost his rigidity as he did each treatment. we then did 2 years

of supplements and today I have a gifted child who never, ever sits

still.

My daughter swelled and got red when she touched blueberries. One

NAET treatment fixed that.

However, my NAET practitioner would NEVER claim it fixes CD. In

fact my NAET practitioner suggests that most people go grain free as

a matter of course.

I recently started using Snake Oil and have seen amazing results. Be careful though - make sure you get the GF Snake Oil and not the regular stuff (it has malt).

Neither one is an effective treatment for celiac.

There's one effective treatment at this point -- don't

eat gluten.

Last year, I was so desparate, I was willing to try just about anything! Well, I had it again today, as a matter of fact. (I LOVE going!)

I ate something I shouldn't have (peppers) on Sunday evening and was *NOT* feeling well, since then. I had a previously scheduled appt with my acupuncture guy...and told him today about my 'issues'...he put the needles in different places than usual. Near the end of the session, I was feeling some little pinch and shooting feelings under my left rib cage, in the front (but internal). That one small area was warmer than all the other skin surrounding it. I asked him about it...and he said, it was working! on my stomach! YAY! Well, I continued to have some of those feelings off and on for several hours afterward.

Well, all the pain and symptoms I had been having? GONE. by mid afternoon.

I don't think it is a substitute for treatment/avoidance, but acupuncture sure works for me in regard to balancing things!

N.E.A.T.

can be done for allergies caused by leaky gut. CD and leaky gut go hand in

hand. Maybe this is what the original poster was speaking about.

If a treatment won't let a CD patient eat gluten, forgive me for

asking, but why do it?
