Guest guest
envirokids brand peanut butter rice bars are AMAZING! And even better if they sit in your car and get all warm. I didnt like the chocolate or berry ones though! i also love the fruit leathers from costco. they count as a serving of fruit and taste delicious! What about making your own trail mix with dried fruits, nuts and M&M'S? -Marina --- EarthLovinMomma earthlovinmomma@...> wrote: > Hi! > > Looking for ideas on snack foods or other > individually > portioned/portionable foods (mostly healthy) that > travel well, either > room temp or in a cooler. If you have a good cooler, then you can add some deli meat. Shez
Guest guest
I've NEVER seen apple sauce tubes. Plenty of applesauce TUBS available around here. But they're so delicate. I find them hard to travel with. They sure like to puncture. Packed carefully in the cooler they work OK. But keep all pointy and sharp objects away! Guest guest
Looking for ideas on snack foods or other individually portioned/portionable foods (mostly healthy) that travel well, either room temp or in a cooler. There is no way of heat/reheating anything so it has to be eaten cold or room temp. Thanks~Your help is most appreciated!~Nina I also like Lara bars, also we use dried fruit/trail mix we mix up at home, jerky (also homemade) and we like Mrs. May's nut snacks (they come as cashew or almond or sunflower seeds or pecans ....). " ;-) Besides, I consider pretzels as a " health neutral " sort of food - not exactly full of vitamins, but better than fried stuff by long a way. Guest guest
We pack Lay's Stax chips, EnviroKids Organic Crispy Rice Bars (berry, chocolate, and peanut butter), apples, peanuts, and raisins. We have to take a cooler with food everywhere we go, because my teenager eats non-stop!! > > Hi! > > Looking for ideas on snack foods or other individually > portioned/portionable foods (mostly healthy) that travel well, either > room temp or in a cooler. Guest guest
I like Nana's no gluten cookies. They are healthy as far as cookies go- No refined sugars (sweetened with juice). Taste good and come individually wrapped. > > Hi! > > Looking for ideas on snack foods or other individually > portioned/portionable foods (mostly healthy) that travel well, either > room temp or in a cooler. Guest guest
I don't know where you're located, but here at our Kroger grocery store, we can purchase individual size packages of nuts. That's a great snack I try to keep on hand when traveling... __________________________________________________
