Larry B. Silver, M.D. Conference

The Center School

Dr. Larry B. Silver, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at town

University and a renowned specialist in the treatment of psychiatric

disorders in children and adolescents, will be the speaker at a conference

on learning disorders to be held at The Center School, Highland Park, on

Friday, October 6, 2006.

Sponsored by The Center School, " A Morning with Larry B. Silver, M.D. " will

begin at 9 a.m. At the school, 319 North Third Avenue. Dr. Silver will

entertain questions from the audience and will be available after the

session to sign his books.

Larry B. Silver, M.D. Is the author of " The Misunderstood Child, A Guide for

Parents with Learning Disabilities " , " Dr. Larry Silver's Advice to Parents

on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder " as well as more than 100 other

books and articles on the problems of learning-disabled children. His

emphasis will be on the frequency with which some children often suffer from

more than one learning disorder.

Dr. Silver is a past president of the Learning Disabilities Association of

America, He is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at town University

Medical Center, and prior to that, he was Acting as well as Deputy Director

of the National Institute of Mental Health.
