dietician. I am not even sure how much kidney function I have lost.

Fish oil is a marketer's dream, because terms relating to grade and

distillation can mean just about anything.

Sell! Sell!

fish oil pills, just wondering if you guys think this is true or if

he's just trying to sell his product...

I would definitely stop taking that Wal-Mart fish oil, because it is

almost certainly health food grade. The reason this is bad is that

health food grade fish oil has not been molecularly-distilled like

pharmaceutical-grade fish oil, and so it may contain a great deal of

contaminants like mercury, PCBs, dioxins, etc. In fact, it takes 100

bottles of health food grade fish oil to make one bottle of

pharmaceutical-grade! I am not a doctor, but it seems to me like

this would be even more important to someone with a kidney

disease who may have an impaired ability to filter wastes from the

blood.

I have recently begun selling what I have found in my experience to

be the best fish oil product available. It is called See Yourself

Well Omega-3 and it is molecularly-distilled and twice as

concentrated as health food grade. EVERY batch is certified by the

International Fish Oil Standards program out of Guelph University in

Canada. To verify for yourself that the fish oil is free of toxins

and oxidation, you can view the latest test results here:

just claim theirs are " regularly-tested, " which certainly doesn't

mean every batch.

It will cost more than drug store fish oil most likely, but remember

it is twice as concentrated. It is definitely worth the price.

too bad he didn't read consumer report's article on fish oil and the levels of

contaminants, all brands they tested were fine, including costco etc. -
