Guest guest
Being from Houston TX I miss that sound as I know live in the frozen tundra of watertown wi Kel K -- Re: Stupid crickets! I remember seeing and hearing locusts as a child in Penna. They were actually locusts.. brown grasshoppers. I don't think I've ever seen or heard a cicada, or maybe I have and just don't know what they sound like. Is their sound similar to a locust? Jan jantranscribes@... " Typing is my life. Guest guest
If that was the case I'd be in sad shape Rennie. It's either the shrieking cricket or my sanity and since I can't catch them and put them outside it's the fly swatter for them. It's the LOUDEST cricket ever created! And it can't be the kind that just goes " chirp, chirp " every couple of minutes. This one is long-winded and hasn't stopped to take a breath in at least 5 minutes now. > > Anybody know some sure fire ways to evict an unruly cricket??
