Jack is home!

Dear ,

Amazingly great news! Whew. Make sure they coordinate 'same day

visits' for you-

they can do it. If it doesn't come about easily-then ask 'who can make this

happen for

you.' Snow or no snow..you need to be able to have a life in between.

Having Jack home is certainly a lovely holiday gift.

;-)

After 86 days in the NICU and 5 surgeries Jack is finally home! It is so

wonderful! The only issue i'm having is trying to move him, his g-tube pump and

his feeding bag all at once and then figuring out where to hang the bag when we

find a spot to play! I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon! Next week I meet

with the peds surgeon and hopefully we can start moving off the continuous

feedings towards bolus and have some time to roam freely. I am thankful to not

have to drive the hour and a half to Syracuse every day but will still have to

drive up for the 6 specialists we are seeing! Life is finally starting to look

better!

What a day of great news! Congratulations on getting Jack home! You'll fall

into a great routine and your house will soon be " rigged " for all the extras

that came home with him! Enjoy your " home " time with your baby boy!
