Guest guest
Austin has taking a bad turn in the last say and a half. We have been talking about getting him home from the hospital until his oxygen levels dropped and his blood pressure when really high. He is now hooked up to the vent again which he has been off of for 5 weeks now and everything else. I feel as it is my first day down here again. They think that he has an infection in the blood but so far everything came back negative. And if that is the case then they are going to look for what could have happened and they so far have no clue on what else might have caused this. We had him baptised in the hospital. That was hard to see with him hooked up to everything. BUt we are hanging in. Nadine mother of Austin 6wks charger and 2yrs.

Guest guest
Nadine, I will be thinking of you and precious Austin. What are his main issues? Is it a heart defect causing the O2 issue? Just so you know, there is great hope ahead. My son spent six months in the hospital and there were many times we were not sure he would make it. But I never let him feel that way. Even when he was heavily sedated and looking horrible, I always was by his side encouraging him talking to him about all the things we had ahead of us...going to parks, playing with our dogs, eating ice cream, etc. I know it is a VERY difficult time for you. Do what is best for you and your family...and give Austin lots of love from his CHARGE family. We are all thinking and praying for you!!! Please keep us posted. nkatsimmons wrote: Austin has taking a bad turn in the last say and a half. Guest guest
We had a hellish start too! It was this time of year and I used to just tell about the holidays coming up - over and over again......I would put my hand on 's head - that was the only open space without tubes - and to this day if I want to calm her down I put my hand on her head. I know this is a very hard time for you and I hope it gets better soon.
