If it were me, even though there is recommendation against soaking feet for diabetics - I would fill a basin with warm (comfortable, check it with your hand or elbow) - not hot water, some Epsom salts and about 1 tbs of bleach - I also add lavender (which has anti bacterial properties) and tee tree oil. I'd soak them for a few minutes, dry your feet VERY carefully, apply some betadine to the wounds, let it sit for a minute or two, then triple antibiotic ointment (Neosporin), then cover. I would check them EVERY DAY - probably twice a day. If you don't see great improvement quickly, get thee to the doctor, dear! I use the tea tree, lavender and bleach for the anti-bacterial properties - especially since you're soaking - just be sure everything is VERY clean and VERY dry. Let the sores air out at night while you sleep. Betadine is great for keeping things from infection. I use it on bug bites sometimes - just put a bit on a cotton swab and dab it on, then let it dry. Again, if things don't clear up quickly or if there are any signs of infection, go to your doctor. Better to be safe than sorry! Hope you heal quickly!
