Guest guest
THANKS ----- Original Message ---- From: ERWachter@... Hi Darrell, I was on meds for diabetes and 2 meds for blood pressure. I lost weight, changed my eating habits to sensible eating and I've been off meds for diabetes and blood pressure since 2001. hugs Eunice

Can this happen with high blood pressure too? Anything can happen. Depends on why you developed the diabetes in the first place, what your other health issues are, etc. Two people can be the same weight and eat the same diet... one has diabetes, the other doesn't. So along the way there is also part of this disease that is unique to your own body. Just keep that in mind, if you obtain a perfect body weight and excellent diet and still have to take medications to maintain your blood pressure and diabetes. You will still be much healthier than before, even if you still need to help your body along with the meds. It doesn't mean failure... that's just how things are. I'm simply mentioning this so you don't get discouraged if things don't change as you would like in seeking your 'normal' life. It could just be that this is 'normal' for you.
