Guest guest
We need to get back to editing messages. When we reply to a message, we DO NOT need to include the message being replied to. All that is necessary is one or two sentences so that the thread can be followed. We have a lot of members on Daily Digest. They can receive up to 25 messages in one post. It is very time consuming for them to have to scroll through the same messages over and over. There are members that read their messages at work and don't have unlimited time or space. Some members go to a library to read their messages. At libraries, most of the time you are limited to the amount of time you can spend on the computer. If anyone doesn't know how to edit messages, let me know. We need to change the subject line to the topic being discussed. This also includes removing someone's name if the message is no longer for that person. I know it is much easier to hit reply and send our message, but if we are going to participate in groups, we should be willing to take the extra time to edit messages and change subject lines. Let's start treating our group members the same way we want to be treated. hugs Eunice
