Guest guest
Greetings All,     As promised, an update -- two weeks on the Lifestar event monitor.     I was " cured " by ablation #2 in 2002. The magic four year mark, which supposedly is the benchmark for a cure, will be here in a few months. From what I have read on afib support rrecently in addition to other sources, the " silent afib " seems to often occur after an ablation " success. "    So far, still only mild tachycardia while very active, and a few false alerts due to loose wires.… long may it continue. I am taking thyroid replacement meds - Armour thyroid. All pulmonary veins were ablated. I have 5 of them. There were over a dozen places to ablate. , " cured " by ablation #2 in 2002? no meds
