Do any of you have ice cream makers?

I have the cuisinart automatic frozen ice cream maker which is easy to use,

but doesn't make a large amount of ice cream.

Eunice,

I lost this post in my inbox and just saw it now while looking for something

else. Where can I find a low carb recipe for ice cream? Do you know? does

anyone know?

I live on ice cream in the summer - forget food!!!!!!

BOY, I'D love to get a recipe for this one too, I also hate the thought of

real food on hot days, one of my fantasies is to be LOCKED in an ICE CREAM

factory overnight!!!

Hi Sheila,

I have the Oster Quick-Freeze Ice Cream Maker. This is the recipe I use. I

have no idea how many calories or carbs is in a serving.

Easy Vanilla Ice Cream

2 cups half and half

2 cups whipping cream

1 cup sugar (I use 3/4 cup Splenda)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Most of the time when I make this, I add 1/2 cup cocoa powder.

hugs

Eunice

Hi Donna,

It probably doesn't freeze as well as the freezer using ice and salt, but I

like this freezer. It is easy to use, easy to clean.

Hi all~

Has anyone found an ice cream recipe? I'm not one for adjusting

recipes but would it work if you used a " regular " ice cream recipe and

used a sugar substitute instead of sugar?

I am so dense, Eunice. the last week I thought someone's name was part of a

recipe! can I call this another senior moment?!

I will be looking into an Ice Cream maker the brand you mentioned because I

hate cleaning and usually am too tired as well as trying your recipe

tweaking it to my low calories and carbs.

Hope you're having a great weekend.
