1 week monitor update for successful ablation almost 4 years cured

    As promised, an update -- one full week on the Lifestar event monitor.

So far, only mild tachycardia while very active, only on the first

two days. Since then nothing … long may it continue. I am taking thyroid

replacement meds - Armour thyroid. All pulmonary veins were ablated. I have 5 of

them. There were over a dozen places to ablate.

     As some of you may remember, I was " cured " by ablation #2 in 2002. The

magic four year mark will be here in a few months. From what I have read here

recently in addition to other sources, the " silent afib " seems to often occur

after an ablation " success. "
