Guest guest
The Governor's EMS and Trauma Advisory Council (GETAC) recently appointed a task force to evaluate the current EMS and Trauma Regulatory Structure. This task force is charged with determining the issues with the current regulatory structure, and looking at the pros and cons of both the current structure as well as any other options for regulatory structure. This process was discussed in great detail in an article in the last issue of the Texas EMS Magazine. In order to successfully meet these goals, the task force needs your help. We have developed a short survey to assist us in evaluating the current structure of DSHS and the services it provides. The survey should take approximately five minutes for you to complete. In addition we would like you to feel free to forward this link to as many other email lists and EMS and Trauma folks that you know of in Texas. Our desire is to get surveys on a majority of the personnel and organization involved in EMS and Trauma in Texas and we cannot do that without your help. Please click on this link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=937752717221 Or you can paste it into your browser address line. We will have this poll open until December 15 and we hope to have a couple of work stations at the EMS Conference for people to complete this there as well. We will be reporting back the results of this survey to GETAC and we will provide them in the Texas EMS Magazine as well. Should you have any questions about this survey or the EMS and Trauma Regulatory Structure Task Force, please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime. Thanks for your assistance in improving EMS and Trauma regulation in Texas. ETRSTF Co-Chairs F.E. Shaheen, III EMT-P (O) (F) FSAIII@... Dudley Wait, EMT-P (O) © (F) dwait@...
