Guest guest
>>I'm picturing you as Betty White in her Golden Girls character, only with >>big, leafy legs! That's me. Just fatter. You should see me in the fall when the leaves change color! Golden Girls is one of my all time favorite shows. I always watch it when I go to bed at night. Guest guest
This is a big concern for me. I take good supplements, especially calcium. I have to be careful with breastfeeding that I get enough. Unfortunately I think carrying the extra weight may not be working all the different muscle groups we need. The abs are a good example. Good abs help support your back, posture, etc. Also the range of motion is limited with all that extra weight. I know from having sons that train for football. When my son drops even a little weight (like 5lbs), his sees immediate improvement in his speed, squats, pull-up reps, etc. I'm not an expert but I think weight and muscle fitness are cyclical. You drop some weight - you can do more, you add muscle, then you can burn off more weight. -MJ _________________________________________________________________ iVillage.com: Solutions for Your Life Check out the most exciting women's community on the Web http://www.ivillage.com
