Has your doc also talked about adrenaline being able to give you heart palps to? It can happen when the fight or flight response is triggered. I can (almost) understand your doc depriving you of armour, so just make sure when you go back on it that you take very very small dosages at a time.

good luck in this and keep us posted.

Re: Day 13 of "Project No Meds"

E.The EKG showed the tachycardia, but no electrical issues. The palpsdon't bother me as much as the inability to fully inflate my lungs. Iam not to be on any thyroid meds until it is sorted out from what Iunderstand. Right now, I am almost willing to try Synthroid.. God help me.Thanks for your support, Misty Hey gals-> > Just wanted to write back to keep in touch. Now that's a thought.. if the adrenals are over reacting to added thyroid hormone.... that they are too out of sync to handle that extra load... might not be a bad idea to check into that part.

I'll ask my DO - he isn't a big adrenal support-supporter.If I call the hospital where the echo was done, can I get any infoabout it?>> Now that's a thought.. if the adrenals are over reacting to addedthyroid> hormone.... that they are too out of sync to handle that extra load...> might not be a bad idea to check into that part.> > Topper ()> Yahoo IM: toppertwo> > On Thu, 2 Mar 2006 10:39:29 -0500 " Teague"> writes:> Has your doc also talked about adrenaline being able to give you heart> palps to? It all depends on how much T4 is in your tissues, how fast your converting, if at all, and how fast the hypothalamus and pituitary respond to kick up the TSH... and how much production, if any, your gland has...

When were you checked last and when are you do to be checked again? For TSH and for thyroid levels.....

Have you tried an inhaler? Maybe you have pluerisy???? (there is a dry pluerisy as well as a wet one). Hypo can make one pretty breathless....and make you feel very asthma like. Misty...how old are you? ~E:) wrote: MistyHave you ever been tested for Asthma? Inability to fill the lungs, resulting in eventual tach, palps, etc....Hmmmmmmmm. It's a big thought.
