Guest guest
, Please send me more info about the home IV's. We obviously live well within the 15km radius so it'd be good to know our options. Kristy

Guest guest
; don't forget to stop, amidst the chaos, and have lunch or supper, or dinner or even breakfast; we don't want YOU wearing down and getting " nasally or chesty, " for heavens' sake! n Rojas
Guest guest
Way to go! If you are like us..you will absolutely love home ivs and the freedom it gives your child andyour family.....not to mention the decreased risk of hospital acquired infections. Good luck, hope theylet you do it... oh, but by the way, how intrusive that they come out to do a home inspection first!!!!!! I am shocked at that! Here, I suppose that the first time the home health nurse comes out it might be an assessment of sorts, but they would never dream of doing an inspection.....and gosh, I can only imagine the reaction my hubby ron would have at that suggestion, even! In fact, the home health nurses have mentioned a number of times some of the types of homes they go into, and frankly, many are less than suitable for kids, much less kids with medical issues. I wonder if the difference is dang managed care here? they get kids out of the hospital as soon as they can..... Take care and good luck. By the way, what do they do there, do picc lines, or what, for access? Guest guest
Dear , How's Eilish going? I guess our bbq is postponed although with the weather we've been having lately I just want to stay inside with the heater on! Have you ever looked into other alternative remedies like Crataegus etc? If so have you mentioned it to our doctors and how did they respond? I'm really keen to get Connor started but I'm dreading telling his doctors. I'm arming myself with lots of information and confidence first! Hope Eilish is doing better. Love Kristy

Guest guest
Kristy, He cough didnt seem as bad today, but then maybe thats just today and tomorrow, well we will see. We seen (Dr MArtin) and although we like him heaps, he's not really into alternatives. He always asks me about ''s own treatments'.. I know he doesnt like it but tough she's my child and with all the crap getting pumped through her what harm will a herbal thing do? So anyway I told him were staying with it and he just smiled. Just stick to your guns, or like Ive done in the past I dont tell them, unless something goes haywire. I bet 90% of parents tamper with herbal stuff but dont tell the doctors everything. Who is Connor having? They all are great except Rima and I think she's not seeing patients in clinic anymore, thank god! Hasnt the weather been cold and wet. I was very cold today taking Liam and the neighbours kids to school. Its very windy at their school and cold. had today off and he picked 5 kids up from school and took them all to gymnastics, and then we gave them dinner and know its just and I as the kids are in bed (our kids others have gone home) and were are going to settle down the watch some video hired. Talk soon. Re: hsp update > Dear , > How's Eilish going? Guest guest
I dont know exactly why I hate the ports except that they are ugly (in my view only) and a constand reminder. So thats my dread at the moment. Maybe I need psychiatric treatment! I think I was shocked when they suggested one actually as she had only has three admissions then and I wasnt prepared for that. I know she'll probably have one but I was thinking around 10 ot 11 so when she was only 2 and they mentioned it it just floored me. But of course if it was either no treatment or a port well then commonsense will win out and she'll have one, but I hope not yet.
