Hopefully someone else will be able to help out. If not, at least you know you aren't alone Tracie From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of Sent: Saturday, September 16, 2006 7:49 PMTo: VulvarDisorders Subject: I have a question.. I have been reading the net ALL day long and have gotten no where.. so I am hoping someone here maybe able to help me out... I am trying to figure out acidic and akaline vaginal discharge.. I have a normal discharge.. no odor.. that goes in accordance with my cycle.. BUT my discharge literally discolors my panties. I mean if I have black panties the cotten middle piece discolors. Now I change them everyday.. don't wear them to bed.. am clean.. and I mean discolors.. takes the color right out of them! Anyone ever have this problem? hear of it?? Guest guest
Hi, and Tracie: I think that's normal in dark-colored panties. I mean...if the vaginal fluid is acidic, it stands to reason that it might sort of bleach out the crotch of a dark colored panty, right? I have occasionally had that happen. As long as the fluid doesn't have a strong odor or irritation along with it and the fluid is clear to whitish to yellowish I think you are fine. Guest guest
HI .. Hon I wouldn't worry about that pH of your vagina unless you're having some pain or a problem. Don't go looking for trouble. *smile* Believe me that used to happen to me as well (discharge changing the color or almost bleaching it out if they were black ones, purples did too) Its not a big deal or least wasn't to me... and I found out usually it was just a bad dye job in the panties, LOL as the really expensive ones (few that I had) it didn't do that... that's all it was in my opinion. But honestly I sure wouldn't worry about it hon if it were me. Wear white ones, *grin*... but then you might get a yellowish or tacky discharge color you'll see there too, *chuckle* Go have fun hon and quit worrying about that. Hugs Dee~

Guest guest
Dee TCC means trying to concive. She wants to get pregnant. Guest guest
awwwh Thanks .. I had no idea what TCC meant. *smile*.... each group after a while forms short hand letters that only they understand *chuckle* like we've got E & T.. and others. I know sometimes celiac can also be a problem with infertility and maybe Arline will send something on that eh? No idea of course hon but I sure wish the best and understand her concern with the discharge moreso now. Dee~
