Guest guest
HI Tami hon........ just wishing you the absolute very best with your riziotomy tomorrow. !!!! YOU GO GIRL! I'm so thrilled too to hear the Estradiol liquigel from Pete is working so well for you too. If that doesn't give someone hope then nothing will knowing of the hell you've been thru hon. And even as Dr. Willems says that must be continued as a maintenance but so what? Heck it's so simple to put that small dab on a few times a week to keep things well that to 'me' it's not big deal. I'm just hoping hon the whole ball of wax can truly give you some final relief. BIG hugs and be sure to let us know how it goes. Guest guest
Hi Tami-- I'm hoping your procedure went well and that you're feeling at least a bit of relief. I look forward to hearing about it. I know you probably don't feel much like writing right now, but when you feel up to it I'm wondering a few things. What is it exactly, between the estrogen and suppositories, that you think took your burning away? Or was it all together? Is ketoconazole effective against glabrata? What do you think was the main cause of your vulvar pain? I am so happy that you've gotten relief from that and I hope more of that follows with your other symptoms. > > Hello, > Well tomorrow is the riziotomy. I hope this works. Guest guest
Hi , I know of someone who was cured of glabrata with nizoral - ketaconazole. She was better in a few days! Lucky her! Guest guest
I have glabrata and it was not cured with Nizoral which I took for 14 days. I think you have to have sensitivity tests done on your culture to know exactly what will kill the type of grlabrat you have. I had mine done and VFEND is supposed to kill it. I am taking it for 7 days, 2xs a day. I am on day 5 and i don't feel bettter. My symptoms are the same. Burning that comes and goes with a milky/creamy discharge. been burning now for 2xs at a 5 on a scale from 1-10.... > > Hi , > > I know of someone who was cured of glabrata with nizoral - ketaconazole. Guest guest
Dee and All, Thanks for your kind words and Well Wishe's. I guess it can take up to 2 weeks to know if it worked. I dont understand that. I didn't even get to talk to the dr. They double booked apts. and my apt. was at 10:45am. and I didn't get back till 2pm. I told the nurse I wanted to talk to him I had a note book full of question's, but she said that wasn't going to happen he was running behind. She was able to answer most of my question's, but I wanted to talk to him about the placement of nerve's and a friend's case. Im still in pain and it is worse. I have 9 hole's and bruising and swelling on my lower back. The first night I slept with ice pack's. Im a little disapointed. I hope I made the right decision. Unfortunatly im waiting to see. I'll keep everyone posted. Hugs, Tami --- DeeTroll wrote: > HI Tami hon........ just wishing you the absolute > very best with your riziotomy tomorrow. !!!! Guest guest
Thanks Tami for the update! *sigh* It makes sense hon that it might take two weeks to kick in but I'm so sorry you're in a lot of pain right now. Hang in there hon..... and just sending lots of healing thoughts and prayers that this is 'THE' one that finally gives you some relief. Hugs Dee~
Guest guest
Tami, Glad to see you posted an update but my advice to you is to pls be patient hun b/c it takes time for the nerves to heal, especially in your case b/c they cut thru nerves. How come they didn't try freezing or even burning the nerves before this procedure? I was just curious.
