If you will go to http:\clos.net you can be dirrectly on Dr. R sight. Then look to the colom on the left and you can click on and get the paper work you need and get a manual sent to you. For the paper work, it is under the patient information and I can't remember for the other. The sight is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck and God bless. Guest guest
Aww, that's wonderful! Congratulations, Rita. There will some of us there on the 19th. I will be there @9:00. This will be my second clinic visiot so I am not sure how long I will be there. To find me, I am 5'9 " with almost black, very curly hair and so pale, I glow under a black light. I am going to try to remember to make a name tag that also has my e-mail address on it. Hope to meet you there (don't faint when you see the crowd of us there). -Ginny Ivanoff (somewhere between ville and Durham)

Guest guest
Hey guys.... I am writing to those of you who related to insurance problems...I completely understand....I battled with Kaiser for a year, then they left the state and now I have been able to change to another insurance, Aetna, and I am starting the battle all over again,,,,,,, One word of advice, work hard,,,remember that this is your life that you are fighting for.... Couple of other things to remember. .....it is not important about the problems that you discuss with your doctor, the only important thing is what is WRITTEN in the patient notes....I always write my complaints down and request that they be put in my file....Next, make sure that you if you recieve a denial, read, read , read , and reread your insurance EOC (evidence of Coverage)...it is your contract and the wording and appeals system is very important for you to know.....Finally, try to find someone on any list that has been approved for a bypass by your insurance company - they can be a blessing..... good luck and remeber me in your prayers.....Kathy intro > > > Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce myself. Guest guest
Welcome and congratulations! Regards, EJ Reece pre op 270 BMI 41 24/26 post op 7+ years 135 BMI 20 6/8 Re: intro Hi to everyone !! I wanted to introduce myself... I have been lurking here for several months and now that I am over a year can officialy post.... I had my LAP RNY surgery on 12/15/99 by Dr. Andrei in New Brunswick NJ. He is the partner of " the famous Dr. Brolin " that is going to fix one of our members !!! (El I think??) They are terrific doctors and I highly recommend them. I started out at 226.5 lbs and am 5' 1/12 " . I am now at 113 lbs...I lost exactly half of myself !!!I went from a size 22-24 to a size petite 4-6 !!!! Needless to say I am thrilled, amazed, stupified, did I forget to mention happy !!! This surgery is a lifesaver...Along with the lbs I lost I also lost my constant reflux, high blood pressure, back pain, joint pain, as well as being able to laugh or cough without peeing on myself !!! I am a changed person. My hubby tell me I have changed not just physically but mentally. I have more confidence and am more outgoing. I no longer feel intimidated by being a fat person... I can so relate to the recent threads about " body morphing " not only do I not recognize my own reflection in the mirror but I am also dealing with " sharpai skin " . Its amazing what clothes hide, as well as " shapers " (I agree with Ann about the bodyslimmers from Ganz) they are worth the expense, none of the others have the strength or slimmingness of them.... I am still having issues with the whole bra thing.....my boobs shrank from 40 DD to 34 C and the only reason they are a C is cause of the extra wrinkled skin that needs to fit in the cup !!!! (sorry guys !!) Those puppies are virtually non exhistent !!! I am going to have to try gel inserts cause even the nice ladies at 's Secret have given up on me !!! Plastic surgery is starting to sound like a good idea... I am definitly looking into doing my arms...I have the worst batwings and have the tiniest shoulders..I refuse to wear anything sleeveless or those little cap sleeves....the skin hangs down to my elbow !!! Ann I think your arm job was wonderful !!! wish I could use your Doc but its too far from NJ !!! I eat anything and almost everything (except sugar on an empty stomach) and have a protein shake a day... I am still trying your wonderful samples...will probably re order soon !!! I take a bunch of vitamins a day plus calcium (only citrate !!!) I am going to see about a bone density test soon. I am a RN, mother of 2 kids and 2 dogs (no cats...sorry I am allergic and don't find them that interesting for pets !!! ) I just want to say in closing what a gift I have been given being able to have this surgery...and what a wonderful bunch of people are here in this group !!! I'll stop my ramblings now...Thanks you all !!! Bonnie LAP RNY 12/15/99 -113 lbs Stick a fork in me cause I am done !!!!
