Guest guest
Marilynn, Two cheetos isn't the end of the world. Just know that you have to watch what you eat. I'm a binge eater and honestly, if I had two cheeto's I'd not worry about it. I know that if I let myself occasionally have the items that I want that aren't healthy.. just a bite or two.. then I'll be more likely not to fall off the wagon and binge out and make myself sick. Guest guest
Marilyn - I'm not allowed to do that. If I'd even think of it my 6 year old yells, " Mom are you allowed to eat that?I didn't think you were allowed to have that. " She keeps me in check,LOL Kim RNY 6/23/06 298/255/135 > > I was out with my kids this afternoon and I caught myself eatting 2 of their > cheato's. I scared myself. Guest guest
One thing that helps me is I do a calorie breakdown every day. It helps keep me in check on a daily basis! Plus I email a food journal to my surgeon's nutritionist every week. That helps keep me accountable as well! Guest guest
My 6 yo is extremely annoying. She is always telling me " Mommy you can't eat that, " but she is still thinking about the early days after surgery. However, even as annoying as it is, it also makes me stop and think before eating some things. It's funny how 6 yo think they know so much at such a young age. in Virginia 299/243/150 Lap RNY: 5/3/06 Re: caught myself Marilyn - I'm not allowed to do that. Guest guest
hahaha, I know mine do the same thing!!! They are great about it, it gets annoying, but I love that they help me be accountable. My home cheering squad. They ask me if I have had my vitamins, water, and exercise. The moment i TOUCH something, " Can you have that? " The other day, I was walking out of wal-mart and I hadn't had anything to eat that day, (rushing) and I was eating something, my 4 year old asked me if it was sugar free. hahahaha I didn't think I heard him right so I asked him to repeat it. hahaha Sure enough he was checking to see if it was sugar free. Another time he asked me if I could eat something I said no as I ate it haha and he said, Then why do you eat it? Im like THAT is a GREAT question!!!! and put it down. Shauna " R.D.
