I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED RUNNING(MANY YEARS AGO)IN HIGH SCHOOL!!!! SINCE I

HAVE BEEN HEAVY NOW FOR SOMETIME I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO RUN IN A 5K

(3.1MILE) RACE!!I HAVE ALWAYS HAD THE DESIRE EVEN AT 290 LBS BUT

UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE. I COULDN'T EVEN MAKE IT UP STAIRS

WITH OUT BEING OUT OF BREATH. SO NOW THAT I'VE LOST APPROX. 120 LBS. I

HAVE THIS BRIGHT IDEA THAT NOW IS THE TIME FOR ME TO REACH FOR MY

GOAL!! DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS AS FAR AS TRAINING

FOR THIS TYPE OF AN EVENT AFTER GASTRIC BYPASS??? I DON'T WANT TO SET

MYSELF UP FOR FAILURE!! THIS EVENT IS ON OCT 29 SO IT WILL GIVE ME

ALMOST 3 MONTHS TO PREPARE..I HAVE A WONDERFUL HUSBAND THAT SUPPORTS

ME BUT HE IS WORRIED ABOUT ME GETTING ENOUGH PROTEIN AND WATER IF I'M

PUSHING MYSELF TO HARD!!! I CAN UNDERSTAND WERE HE'S COMING FROM.
