Guest guest
Hey there HMikeska I went to the feb 5 clinic and my info still has not been sent to my insurance company so it may take a couple of more weeks . Believe me I have called and bugged her and I feel bad for doing it but I want to know what is going on.
Guest guest
Howdy, Just a few notes and updates in the past several weeks we have been seeing between 50 and 60 people in clinic on Saturdays. Yikes! > I went to the feb 5 clinic and my info still > has not been > sent to my insurance company so it may take a couple of more > weeks . Believe > me I have called and bugged her and I feel bad for doing it but > I want to > know what is going on. > Debbie is trying to put all the patient information into the computer but with all the other things she is doing she is getting further and further behind. So.... #1 Do not call and " Bug " Debbie. A polite email to her at dw@... is a much better approach. If I get wind of who is " Bugging " Debbie ... #2 If you would like to speed up you application your best bet is to complete the patient information for on the internet at http://clos.net/patinfo.htm I just printed out 50 insurance letters that came in over the internet this weekend. They will go out in 1-2 days. Take your time. Be careful. USE THE SHIFT KEY! Normal English should have a smattering of both upper and lower case letters, AnD pulease use CorrEct PunctUaTion,-!//? and CapitaLiZation and Spell yor wrds crrectly (;-) #3 If you really want to push your insurance company we can fax/mail you a copy of your letter and you can carry it in person or FedEx or certified mail it to your Insurance company. #4 If you want to know what your insurance company is doing with your approval, call them. Please do not call Debbie to ask her what your insurance company is doing. I can assure you she does not know what all 833 people's insurance companies are doing. ;-) or you can just relax and use this time to carefully investigate this surgery further. Peace. Guest guest
One question about this. If we have already submitted a hard copy in person can we do it again on the internet. I would be more than glad to take care of that. because if it is a faster way to get this process started count me in
Guest guest
Also a tip that Debbie expressed when filling out the questionaire on-line----please use he/she;hers/his when filling out the form. Do not use I/my/we, etc. Fill it out as you were filling the form out for someone else. The letter is supposed to express the wishes of a third party intervening on your behalf, and Debbie said she has to go back and hand-edit each one. So please, everyone if you can, try to help this overworked woman out. :-)) Her poor little tongue was hanging out of her mouth by Sat afternoon! :-) fg At 02:41 PM 02/27/2000 -0000, you wrote: > > >Howdy, > >Just a few notes and updates in the past several weeks we have been seeing >between 50 and 60 people in clinic on Saturdays. Having input my information on Friday, I'll be hopeful that mine is one of the 50 that will be going out! Hope springs eternal! You mentioned above if we really wanted to push our insurance companies. Is that advisable? If so, please do send a copy of my letter and I'll get right on it! If not, let me know and I will do my best to practice one ofr my lesser gifts...patience. Thanks! Guest guest
<< I'm getting tired of all these trips up to the hospital when it does'nt seem to make any difference >> Doris, have you asked your doc about oral drugs that do the same as the Chemo and you could take every day at home? Maybe Methotrexate and Cytoxan are in that category. Can't recall if you are taking any anti-inflammatory -- if not, wonder why. Also ask your docs about trying Enbrel since it seems to have both anit-inflammatory and immuno-suppressant qualities. H.
Guest guest
<< not yet heart from today .But I will let you all know as soon as I find out if she got her appointment at the Mayo Clinic I will check back on and Denies tomorrow >> I heard from yesterday. She said she is getting ready for the Mayo appointment. I'm on my way to Texas today. Speaking about the life of a 19th century Austrian soldier and some of the recruiting practices of the Austrina army over time at a Conference. Hope my voice holds up. Had a G-I Xray and doc said esaphogus and stomach look OK so the " something stuck in my throat " sensation is not from any damage. Doc said to stop Fosamax for a few weeks and see if that is what is causing the reflux. If it is I she'll give me another calcium bonder next visit. Anyone taking Fosamax, if you have that " something to swallow " sensation be sure to ask doc about it -- if it is potentially harmful or not. Gotta go pack!! H.
