Guest guest
, I still have difficulty sleeping. I was having a very difficult time with returning to work so I asked my doc if she would prescribe something to help me sleep. She first prescribed an antidepressant because I had other symptoms (such as crying uncontrollably). The antidepressant did not help with the inability to sleep so I went back and she prescribed 10 days worth of Ambien. Now that worked! I have been back for another 10 day prescription and they work great. I am finding though as I get much more active and mentally exhausted from work and school that I don't need it as frequently. in Virginia pre-op: 299 present: 254 lost to date: -45 surgery date: 3 May 2006 1st DR Check in tomorrow I have my 1st DR appt tomorrow morning.I am anxious to see how much I have lost. I am going to go with my weight that I weighed on the Monday before surgery at my physical which was 290,because I know I couldn't have lost 13 lbs in 3 days before surgery when I was still eating everything I wanted.their scale said 277 which obviously was wrong. I thought female issues would be delayed this month due to surgery but that darn Aunt arrived a few days earlier than she is usually scheduled. That hurt worse than my surgery pains,UGH! Another thing is I haven't really slept for the past week or so.I have been taking my pain med at bedtime to help me relax more but I still only sleep for an hour or so off & on.I noticed I have been sleeping with my mouth open alot too because my c-pap dries out my mouth to the point that I can't even swallow & then I wake for that too.I never did that before surgery.Guess I will discuss with DR tomorrow. Will check in with my great news tomorrow! Finally get rid of those ??? marks. surgery 6/23/06 298/???/
Guest guest
, I just had my first cycle since surgery and it has been very heavy, long, and very painful in my lower back. I used to have it for 3-4 days, but it has been 6 already. I don't know if this is normal or not, but if it goes on much longer I will call my doc.I hope this does not become the norm. in Virginia pre-op: 299 present: 254 lost to date: -45 surgery date: 3 May 2006 Re: 1st DR Check in tomorrow I've noticed I've slept more w/ my mouth open as well! I'll wake up w/ a dry, sore throat. Once I get up & have some water it gets better tho! Good luck at the doctor! I was on my period during surgery. Talk about a mess when you wake up! UGH! But, the nurses were great & cleaned me up & helped me get my undies on. 380/351/160 wrote: > I have my 1st DR appt tomorrow morning.I am anxious to see how much > I have lost. Guest guest
Oh I'd hope not too! After every pregnancy, mine has changed and with Marielle, it changed for the worse. It hurts incredibly now. I hope and pray it doesn't get worse after the surgery. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing that. I have my next appt in a month so if it doesn't improve soon maybe I will call them. She suggested for me to see my sleep apnea DR 1st tho. Surgery 6/23/06 298/270/135 > > , > > I still have difficulty sleeping. Guest guest
No, I don't use a cpap. It must be something w/ the surgery! It's been that way since I woke up from surgery! And my tongue is so sore! Almost raw. I'm wondering if I have a touch of thrush. I have a yeast infection from the antibiotics. :-\ 380/351/160 wrote: > Do you use a c pap?
