Hi, I am so hoping Dee and some of you are around. I was healing up pretty good. Not to much pain in the skin area. My skin was like raw meat. Then couple of days ago I got my boric acid capsule and used one that night. Now that is the only thing I have done different. The next day I had a bit of discharge which seemed to be irratating. The next day (yesterday) is was totatlly raw meat and on fire. So today I called the Dr. (Lane Mercer) and just came home from there. He doesn't know what it is. Maybe it's fungal but he says it look like an allergic reaction to something. I didn't tell him about the boric acid. He is the type if he didn't prescribe it, it is stupid. My question is he wants me to take by mouth steroids for a week. Now in the beginging of this I was given by a different Dr. Estrace and 2 steriods in a cream to get it better and it did help. Well I don't want to take those steriods so I think I will just use the first compounded cream that I have for a few days and see how it goes. Today he did a fungal swab and will have it back Wed. He said he though when I get healed up a bit I should have a bi-opsy which is scary. He doesn't think that it is LS but maybe LP, but doesn't look like either one. So has anyone taken the steriods to clear it up. Or just used topical steriods to help. Please let me know what you guys think. I not going to get the pres. Till I see what you think. Hugs, Bernetta
