Leona,

That's great! Here's to doctor's making mistakes (bet we never thought we'd be saying that, huh?). Let's pray that one big mistake is ALL this is, and that he just jumped the gun on opening his mouth!!!!

Please, keep us posted!

Hugs,

Well that was a quick exit and return wasn't it. Had changed my messages so if I wanted to read them from the PSC site I could but hadn't been able to pull the final plug.

Saw the surgeon to-day and there is a light at the end of the road. If you remember a couple of months ago my GP told me he suspected ovarian cancer and sent me to a gynecologist. She was upset with him - said I was fine and the test was high because of my PSC.

Now this surgeon doesn't know what is going on with me but also said the test could be elevated because of my liver disease. A cat scan is the only way to find out. I am glad Dick was in the doctors office with me when he told me I had advanced pancreatic cancer so people dont think it was a senior moment with me.

Thanks to all for your messages. You really are a bunch of sweethearts so for now I am sticking around until I get an answer.

At least to-day we are sure feeling better.

With love, Leona

Welcome back Leona. We are all praying for you and hoping that the CT scan will give you the information you need. Keep up that hopeful attitude!

I'll be praying for you.

Barbara Doyle

A FOND FAREWELL

I was diagnosed with PSC six years ago and have been a member here since. The support I have had over the years has been great and I will not forget you

I have been going to doctors for the past four months as I have had severe back pains. Been trying to get some medication that will help. Last week my doctor noticed how much weight I have lost and did a bunch of blood tests. Received the results to-day and I have pancreatic cancer - very advanced.

My PSC is no longer my main concern so as I am going to be busy with this other must say good bye to all. You are a great bunch and keep up all your good work.

God Bless You All.

Leona,

I felt so sorry when I read your e-mail and the news

of your new diagnosis.

I pray so much that they will do their best to put the

cancer under control. Blessings.

Leona,

I know I am

late to the send off/welcome back party, but I do want you to know you are in

my thoughts and prayers. I see your personality back in your more recent

e-mail. That is great to see…your first one made me so sad. I

am glad Dick was with you as well for this one. You never know when to

take them do you? You picked the right appointment…I on the other

hand…seemed to have a history of picking the wrong moment…you know

the ones where the OB/GYN says go home and work on starting labor ourselves.

Thanks for planting that one in his brain. I thought I would hopefully

make you laugh with that little story.

Love and hugs

and of course all the support you need, whenever you need it.

Mom of Noah (8)

UC, PSC, and osteopenia ’05; and a very tired boy after two days of sleepover

at a friend’s house for his friend’s birthday…oh how glad we

are that he is “living” again!
