Guest guest
I have a question about this treatment. Is it so expensive because it is a relatively new procedure? $1000 per treatment seems awfully steep, is it a long procedure? And when is it best to start on this. Since I only have some flushing right now, no lesions or red capillaries, could it possible help me? TIA! Renata
Guest guest
Renata, This procedure was done in Toronto and the price was most likely in Canadian dollars. A typical price for treatment by an expert in the US is $400 to $500. Jim Clary, Dallas TX Photo Derm treatments. > I have a question about this treatment. Guest guest
Renata: Who is charging you $1,000 per treatment? That's highway robbery. I'm paying $450.
Guest guest
, LOL! No one yet, I got the $1,000 per treatment impression from this board, but now I realize people must have been referring to packages. Also, I'm from Brooklyn and I think perhaps this might be more expensive in the NYC tri-state area. I'm just wondering how early you can begin with these treatments, or do you have to wait until things start to get worse. Right now I have some flushing all over my face and just today found small capillaries on the sides of my nose. << Renata: Who is charging you $1,000 per treatment? That's highway robbery. Guest guest
Even at the worst exchange rate the price would be $675 CND as compared to $450 USD. I would agree that $1000 is highway robbery. I'm Canadian and would prefer to have it done here, but I would really be asking why they are jacking the price by $325CND. Cathie > > > Who is charging you $1,000 per treatment? Guest guest
I know, it's outrageous! I've been having my treatments done in Calgary by a very experienced photoderm doctor, who never charges more than $150 for a full face treatment. Guest guest
In interior Alaska there is only one plastic surgeon's office doing Photoderm and it costs $150 for 15 min, which equals $600 an hour. I guess it depends on supply and demand - there isn't another town within 400 miles of me - they can pretty much charge whatever they want. Judi Re: Photo Derm treatments. I know, it's outrageous!
