Guest guest
Hi , Please try not to worry. Your body has just undergone a drastic change and needs time to adjust. It is perfectly normal to fluxuate a little. I try not to weigh myself too often, but I have been one weight one day, 5 pounds more the next, and then go down again. You are doing great. Keep up the good work and just give it some more time. Sorry I can't be of more help. Hang in there, everything will be fine. Have you talked to your doctor? You should call him if you are really upset, thats what he's there for. Also, work on getting your water in. I know it is hard to get everything in you need right after surgery but water is a key factor in weight loss. *hugs* Open RNY 1/12/05 310/250/

Guest guest
I called, and his nurse just told me to increase my water, and watch the amount of sugar and carbs in my protein. I looked at that, and I was under the amount she told me to be. I guess I didn't realize not getting my water in would wreck such havoc. Do you think that could be all that it is? .. > > > , > Its going to work, you really need to get your liquids in! Guest guest
> Thanks! The common answer I keep getting is to increase my water. I haven't even been drinking half of what I was supposed to. I just don't like that full feeling. I teach school, and it's kind of hard to keep stopping to drink! Guest guest
Your body is still healing, its working so hard to try and fix everything the doctors cut on in there.......You just have to give it some time. I'm sure if there were people that not only didn't lose weight, but gained instead after surgery, we would have heard about it in this group.......Your going to do fine!! Guest guest
, Initially everyone is challenged consuming the quantities of fluid recommended, just do your best, eventually it will be easier. I see on the days I drink the water I am supposed to - the results show up the next day on the scale. Good luck! Debi --- claireadams55 wrote: > I am trying.
