When I met with my surgeon for my pre-op appointment he asked me if I was employed, I told him I was gainfully unemployed and quite happy about it. However, I was planning on a new career after surgery....to which he asked, what would that be? I explained after my surgery my husband will be retiring at which point I will be starting my new career as a " Sex Kitten " to the Love God (aka: my husband) he just howled. Said I was his only patient to have that in mind as career post surgery..,..so I would have to say, ummm, nope, no loss here.... hahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa! --- jylski1 wrote: > Hi im new here.. Guest guest
Well, as you know, sex changes the longer we are in relationships. I personally have found some of the *new age* idealogies to be helpful in making sex a much more intimate bond. I don't want to be too graphic here and give someone a heart attack lol but if you want to e-mail me directly I would be glad to share some of the ideas we have used. Guest guest
Hi, Quite the opposite for me, although I don't have any kids as some others have mentioned. Mine skyrocketed, although I hadn't been touched for nearly 5 years before my surgery so I'm sure that had something to do with it also lol. I guess its just different for everyone. Guest guest
I have to say that reading the post made me laugh...I just love this group...I really do...lol. Well as for me, it was out of control for a minute. My sex drive went to the 3rd power. And I was one who liked sex prior to surgery, but was not engaging too often because of self esteem issues...Plus I was single. Well anyway. After the surgery...about 4 months in...down 80lbs...I found myself in the arms of an old friend...and the experience was so intense it scared me...in a good way...but scared me all the same. I went to the doctor and demanded why I wasn't warned about this side affect. My surgeons assistant then said to me... " You know it is becoming a problem because patients are getting pregnant and they are not even a year post-opt " Of course I was told this because I am a social worker and was telling my doctor that a social worker was needed. Of course I got away from the sex and found peanut chews which was not a better choice...(Fat thinking). But I told my doctor that the peanut chews were helping me...he looked at me like I had two heads...said there was no scientific proof that chocolate helps anything...then I looked at him in a way that only a woman does and said... " the chocolate... helps me... stay away...from chocolate. " Then he looked at me with a bit of frightin his eyes and told me not to get pregnant for at least 6 months. He walked out the room before I could throw my pocket book at him...smile. > > > > Hi im new here..
