Believe it. CPS will ESPECIALLY come and TAKE VERY SERIOUSLY the

accusations when someone " in authority " (medical personnel are included)

calls and gives his name when reporting.

Dana,

I do not know legal terminology but when this happened to me, all they sent

to me was a letter stating no evidence of abuse or neglect was found and six

months afterward a letter expunging the record. Is this what you mean by

final resolution/disposition or is there more I should have gotten and ask

for?

If you believe there might be more info that you want to obtain, you

can request a copy of the file [they will remove certain info, but you

should receive the balance] from your local CPS agency.

But what you received should be sufficient.

That was why I suspected a doctor. I had argued with one that Friday

afternoon. And they showed up Saturday morning.

I need help. Need advice fast. Child protective services just came. They

left but I'm not too sure what to do now. Or if I need to be afraid of

anything else happening. Someone called abuse hotline on me and I do believe

it was a doctor or medical professional or some other idiot who became upset

with me talking about vaccines, mercury and alternative treatments.

<<I can not believe that a doc or anyone can call CPS and claim abuse and " poof "

they are at your door!?! This is crazy! But, it appears to be happening more

and more. Just because someone is upset about a vaccine issue is no reason to

call CPS. How ironic when we are trying to save our children and others from

the abusive ravages of vaccine!>>

Oddly enough, they only seem to jump that quickly when a doctor calls, not a

neighbor that has personally witnessed numerous instances of physical abuse.

You put that MD behind their name and they might as well be gods. *rolls eyes*

I wouldn't be surprized in the least.

(Totally unrelated to you Juli) As an aside, one argument for foster homes, I

have an aunt that used to foster, I don't know how many kids went through her

house, but she was an exceptional foster parent. She adopted 3 kids that she

fostered, one with abuse issues and two born addicted. One of the moms that she

fostered and adopted from now rents a house accross the street from my aunt.

The birth mom is trying very hard to clean up her act, she got one of her kids

back that my aunt also fostered. Anyhow, my point is, that I've heard horror

stories from my aunt about what has happened at other foster homes, but they all

are not like that. Which I'm sure you all have realized.

Sorry for the babbling,

No kidding! I had called on someone I knew. I knew first hand that

her children were being neglected. Her baby had an eye infection that

she was doing nothing for, she wouldn't even wipe the crud off of his

eye! She laughed when her one year old was burned by a lit cigarette,

she said that would teach him not to grab for them anymore. There was

a lot more other stuff going on and cps didn't do a damn thing!
