Thank you. I remeber some of this before but it through me off guard. i

didn't even realize what was happening. I got so scared. I am printing it

out now. I've got a lawyer already. I what to pursue this no one has the

right to do this to us. It was for completely malicious reasons.

I need help. Need advice fast. Child protective services just came. They

left but I'm not too sure what to do now. Or if I need to be afraid of

anything else happening. Someone called abuse hotline on me and I do believe

it was a doctor or medical professional or some other idiot who became upset

with me talking about vaccines, mercury and alternative treatments.

May I ask what happened when CPS came?Did they come in?You can email

me privately,if you'd like,or post here,and I'll try to help.My email

is muldey@... .I'll be on for a little while,and back when my

kids go to sleep.Try to relax,as hard as that sounds.Consider

bringing Nichollette someplace safe,like family or friends,in case

CPS comes back with a warrant.Also,videotape or audio tape if

possible all interactions with CPS.If you have a good ped,you may

want to bring her in for an exam,just for documentation purposes.So

that the dr can back you up.It's also good if you have a legal

exemption to vaccines.It's ridiculous we have to do these things,but

better safe than sorry.There is a good chance that they will not

bother you again, I'm praying that is the case.

Yes they can,but it's worth it in my opinion,if it's a choice between

the child being safe with relatives or friends,or having the child

placed in foster incarceration where who knows what can happen.I

would have hid my son in a second if I knew they were coming,and I

did hide my daughter,until I found out they were not seeking custody

of her.

I have been through this very same thing. Yes, many in the medical

profession are quick to call C & Y to report a parent for special diets,

vitamins, etc. While this was happening, I called several attornies who were

very interested, promised to look into some things and call me back. They

did not. I think they chickened out. Do you have any doctor helping you?

They backed off when I showed them my child was under care by " a doctor " . I

got a referral from Dr. Rimland to an alternative doctor and a DAN doctor.

One of these DAN doctors were very helpful at writing letters to Child

Protective Services regarding the treatment for my child. All charges were

dismissed after this. Try to stay calm.

If your child does not have someone from your state( Family Support

Services Coordinator) helping with services -you need to call them

on monday and get them involved. In my state it is the people from

Mich. Community Mental Health. I have talk to my lawyer about this

very thing and this is what plan we came up with - If for some

reason protectives services want to judge me or my husband as un

fit - We as parents would leave our home and my sister has agreed to

come over day or night and stay with our children until we as

parents would be allowed to return home. It would be too hard on my

son if he was the one removed from the home- until things get worked

out.

My son was in head start and I have a list of people who work for

the state in some way that I would give to the protective services

people these are people that could be say weather we were unfit or

not.

If the person from protective services were smart - they would make

some call from my home and then decided that we are in fact VERY fit

to take care of our children.

Please becarful this is a big battle and you have a sick child you

need to take care of. I have to go now. every thing is going to be

ok. My 2 cents Ann

Document the interaction which took place for future reference for yourself.

Time, date, name of person who came, questions asked, etc. Sometimes people get

weirded out about special diets, too. Also occurs regarding kids on spectrum

who are runners.

Call some attorneys to find one who works on these kinds of things.

Usually you can get 10-20 minutes of free advice on the phone which

may permit you to figure out what is going on.

In most situations you do have a right to know what they are concerned

about if it wasn't apparent from their questioning.

, I posted once before, but I have been through this several times. It

happens when you have children like mine that are aggressive and self

abusive. There was one time they came to my door because I homeschooled and

wanted me to produce records to them. I told them to leave. I followed the

law, I gave my notice to the state and followed proper procedurre. My

children are tested each year to prove I am doing my job with their

education, and if they wanted records get them from the state. Otherwise get

off my property, cause it was none of their business. The first time they

were called on us, I was very scared. We have a good doctor and my children

have been admitted to Childrens several times. So their behavior is

doccumented. Once they get on your back, they can become quite annoying. I do

not think you will need a lawyer at this point. When there is a complaint,

you are not being officially charged with anything. You are just being

investigated. Child Services does not know you and they must investigate

every complaint. Just cooperate, but don't be afraid and do not back down

from what you believe. It is not againts the law to give your child

supplements or vitamins, or to homeschool. It is proper procedure to talk to

both you and your husband. If you have family or friends that can back you up

or any doctors, that would be helpful. They can see your daughter, but they

can not examine her. I would not let them question her without someone

present. They tried to do that to my son who is aspergers. It is so easy for

kids to get confused. More than likely, they will question you and your

husband. I had my mom and a friend present as witnesses when they questioned

us. So it would be helpful if you had a witness present. If they came and

left without taking your child, then they must be satisfied the child is not

in danger. So that is in your favor. They will follow up, and once they are

satisfied, they will close the case and move on. However if someone calls

again, they will once again come out and do the same. Just don't be nervous,

but do be careful. I do not trust them period. We got MRDD and Family Focus

involved with our kids, and care case Mgt. So we have behavior specialists

coming into our home to work with our kids. So they don't bother us. That

might help you also.They asked me and my husband to have psychological

evaluations and all our kids. I told them I am fine with me and my husband

being evaluated. I have nothing to hide. However, I told them I would not

allow my kids to go through evaluations that were not needed. They had been

through enough testing. Just be careful, but do not let them push you around.

They are suppose to tell you what the complaint says, but they will not give

you the name. That is confidential. They are also suppose to give you a list

of your rights and a copy of their grievance policy in the event you are not

happy with the way things are being handled. So ask for that. Don't let them

ask all the questions. MAke sure you ask what the complaint was, what was

said exactly, and when this case will be closed. You have a right to know

these things. They must be honest with you and tell you how the procedure

works and what happens next. Hope this helped. I am all to familiar with how

Child Services operates. SO if you need any help or someone to talk to email

I contacted her DAN doctor. They were very interested in knowing whether she

was seeing someone medically licensed. I think she just dropped off the face

of the earth Medicaid and health insurance wise. Her treatments are private,

which we do prefer. We pay out of pocket. She has Rett Syndrome so it is a

life threatening disorder. From what I understand it is almost illegal to

have a rett child not be under some medical attention or care. She has two

DAN doctors. A pediatrician and another and they are familiar with Rett

Syndrome. They (CPS) took the business card and looked over her month to

month progress that I keep in a file.

It showed how her walking got better, tremors decreased, the such. She

started self feeding. Epsom salt baths eliminated risperdal medications.

From beginning to end. She is seen three to four weeks. so she is under

treatment.

They said they will contact her doctor. And they took my Autism Autoimmunity

Project business card as well as a copy of Dr. Mark Geier's Thimerasal

research study. I showed them a picture of Nicollette and Congressman Dan

Burton on Capitol hill. He was holding Nicollette in the picture with signs

behind them and the pointy top of the Capital peeking behind them. It was at

this point they backed off. They did actually get closer to the door.

I met with April Oakes and we called a lawyer. She said letters will be

written by both lawyers and The autism autoimmunity project. We called her

DAN doctors from there. They are prepared to answer questions. I feel much

better. But the shock made my reflux act up. I can feel my stomach acids

threatening to rise up. But in spite of it all I do feel somewhat better. I

think I did well considering...

I can not believe that a doc or anyone can call CPS and claim abuse and " poof "

they are at your door!?! This is crazy! But, it appears to be happening more

and more. Just because someone is upset about a vaccine issue is no reason to

call CPS. How ironic when we are trying to save our children and others from

the abusive ravages of vaccine!

This is a CPS site for Kentucky. Check out this answer and question section!!!

Anyone can call the abuse hotline!! And the reporter can be anonymous!! These

anonymous reports are accepted and investigated!! This means ANYONE can call

in, be anonymous and make a persons life a nightmare!!!! Also, a reporter is

immune from prosecution because they acted in good faith!!?!!?

Well, how does reporting a child that is not vaxed acting in good faith? This

is CRAZY!! To vaccinate a child is medical abuse. The docs. who push and favor

vax should be reported.

get burned you just don't go back. She is going to a homeopath and she is

Nicollette happened to have her doc be an MD because her conduition is so

severe as to need both. although she is doing very well with only

supplements.

There has to be some way. I am calling Help Me and wondering if he

can't do a segment for us. he likes controversial subjects. And this really

is no joke. I am calling some media and hope someone will do a segment on

the lashing out doctors are doing for nothing more than malicious reasons.

It's the others I worry about. Doctor's bullying them and scaring them, when

they really have no right to. That is so criminal. Somehow this is

something to think about in which we can network and help each other as they

may continue to exert this type of pressure and scare tactics to other

families. We need to be able to reach out and protect them from these

bullies. Somehow we have to let the medical professionals know this sort of

behavior will not be tolerated. We really do need to be prepared and on

guard for this type of thing. It is a cheap shot but it is a shot that can

really throw you off your feet. My sister and cousins are already looking to

how to work things out just in case.

I am still stunned that this happened. But when we mess with their bread and

butter of course they are going to be spiteful about it. But it is still so

surprising. This will be the last time I will be taken off guard. I will be

further prepared. I am beginning to go through the last posts reading up on

others experiences and going through what my rights are in this state and so

on.

I urge everyone to consider the same. Be prepared. Protect yourself and your

children and do not fall under or give in to bully rule. This is America the

" supposed " land of the free. we have to make it so.

What gets me is that you are never able to face your accusers, which is a

constitutional right. They hide and protect them and rarely are any

criminal charges ever filed, yet they treat you like a criminal. Guilty

until proven innocent.

That's a great attitude Juli! Remember, the more that is given to us,

the more that's expected. You are standing up for what you believe. I

think you are a very strong and courageous women, and have been given

this adversity, so that much good will be attained. You know you have

my support, and I will do everything I can to help. With wonderful

Others have given you good advice, and it does appear you did the

right thing based on your follow-up message.

I would definitely recommend that you be sure to obtain a written copy

of the final resolution/disposition of this visit. Many times they

" forget " to send you a copy, but you need it in case of future issues.
