Guest guest
We survived the hurricanes with only a few broken fronds on the palm trees in the courtyard that we see from our patio. I have to drive about 15 miles N to go to several of my doctors and that is in the direction of where the hurricane was more brutal. I am surprised at how much more damage was done to the trees in just that short distance...as a matter of fact I was astonished as some of the devistation I saw today. Huge rows of trees that were damaged in Hurricane Frances that were finished off by Jeanne. The hospital where I had my knee surgery last year had a circular drive with 75 - 100 foot tall trees rimming the drive to the entrance. At least half of those are totally gone and many of the others are questionable in my eyes whether they will survive. I feel so lucky that we were spared. Thank for all the good thoughts and prayers that were sent our way. Jane Florida PostcardHere is a Florida Post Card showing where we live.
