Guest guest
I don't write to this group because I can read english but I can't write it,I'm from Peru.My granddaugther is 6-7 years. Two years ago we began to give her cod liver oil and we saw improvement in her speech, last year she was in Kindergarten and this year she will go 1st grade, she is reading (not at all),On Dec. I get the Pro-EFA,a relative send to me.Nobody of us say this to the therapist, but at the end of Jan, she wrote in the copybook of Annlu(my grandaugther): " Is notable(¡?) the improvement in her memory and atention " and I believe that is the ProEfa. Thanks to G. Carmen. shaunacrain <shaunacrain@...> escribió: I wanted to post the progress of my son Dylan (28 months old with verbal/oral apraxia and some sensory and gross motor issues). He has now been on the ProEFA for 3 weeks and 2 days. I've been giving him 1/2 teaspoon each morning and for the past 4 days, I've increased that to 1/2 in the A.M. and 1/2 in the P.M. Not sure yet if the multi dosing has helped significantly or if he would've responded the same on the one dosage. However, he had another good session with the ST today. Since I scrutinize his progress on a daily basis, it's hard to judge his improvements. It's like watching your child's physical growth or watching paint dry. So, I asked our therapist what she thought of his progress the last few weeks. She said that he has made a " significant " improvement and to " keep up with the supplements " because they are doing something! This is exactly what I wanted to hear. She said that she sees a lot of improvement in his attempts to say words and his global coordination. One example is blowing bubbles. The way he holds the bubble pipe is much more accurate and deliberate, as well as the breaths that he takes. Plus, he's more on target when popping the bubbles. I wanted to post this update for those of you (like me) who are anxious about what the future holds for our children/babies. I'm hoping that this will bring some comfort knowing that the supplements do work! Also, thanks to all of you who have responded with your child's success story. I refer to those often as inspiration. I've noticed that there are highs and lows depending on the day. Today was a high because we had a great session that confirmed my suspicions that significant progress is being made. However, yesterday was a down day. When I picked up Dylan at his daycare, another boy his age was speaking leaps and bounds above Dylans ability and it brought me down. I guess this will be the roller coaster ride that we are in for. At least there are good days...hopefully more of those to come! I also wanted to mention that I have a 3 month old who I am now putting one drop of ProEFA per day into his bottle (in addition to using the Good Start DHA/ARA formula). If anyone has any thoughts positive or negative about that, let me know. Shauna from NJ

Guest guest
Joanne, This is all great news from you! Where do you get the Nutritional Yeast flakes...is it a powder you buy in bulk, or do you have a brand you are using? And the B 12 injections? Are they from a doctor or did you find a supplier? Ah, last question, about the mole....what do you mean you " had another mole flake off your back " ? That sounds significant! Thanks for keeping us updated! Patty > > Hi girls, > > I can't believe this but I am sleeping better than I have in years and > all that peripheral nerve pain is gone! I just slept 10 hours and feel > so good.
