Krista,

Yes, had everything done about 3 weeks ago. As usual everything looks

good. My hemoglobin was a little low so I'm on a liquid iron med from

the ND.

Cherie,

Have you ever tried a coffee enema for pain? It helps tremendously

with pain according to the books on the Gerson Therapy and

testimonies I've read.

You can safely juice lemon (and lime) peelings, but not orange! (or

grapefruit.)

Cherie,

The difference between yogurt and kefir is in the various numbers of

organisms. Yogurt has a specific few....kefir has many, many more.

Kefir is made from unheated milk, yogurt is made from heated milk.

I think kefir is overall a healthier probiotic, though yogurt is

still good!

Hi Cherie,

I do eat organic dark chocolate as a treat every now and again. I

know I shouldn't but I do.

Cherie,

My best " mental " support is this group. It is like counseling, it

really is. If you need to vent do, you will get support. There are

times when I am so down and blue. I come here and I get hope.

I deal with so many of the things you do, minus a child. You are not

alone.

You must have good will power - I am by no means healthy here and

need major detox still. Just got off a round of antibiotics - oh

joy! I am sure the fungus is a raging! Need to order some GOL

Fungal Defense and take the bottle (he he).

I still cheat though, I just do... Got to live some sort of life if

at all possible and it chocolate is my comfort. I just make sure it

is the lowest sugar I can find - usually 6 grams, dark and organic

(OH YUMMY).

Rogene,

I have a Champion Juicer and its parts are guarantee for life ............

It does a great job also you can do other things like make ice cream , yogurts, butter..........

And of course I haven't learned that end yet. Its cost was 249.00 free shipping.

I had a kitchen aid ........it just didn't make it until I got better.

Cherie,

I was detoxing like crazy, doing supplements, spent hundreds of

dollars we didn't have on therapies, like colonics (got a colema

board too), HBOT, amalgam removal, and more, and yet I was still sick

in the fall of 1999. I was explanted in the spring of 1998. I know

what you are feeling! It was so discouraging!

I've been there....thought I would never get better even after all my

hard work, but I did not give up and did more detoxing with fasting.

Eventually things turned around. Just keep on having faith that it

will happen!

Now I am beyond healed...living like a workaholic and probably not

doing myself any favors healthwise! It will turn around for you.

But make sure you take care of yourself even after you are better.

These bodies of ours demand respect, they are boss! (I think mine is

gonna start whooping on me soon, so I am going to slow down.)

Hugs,

Patty

Hi Patty,

I know that you have been thru what I am dealing with, thanks for

your support my dear! I actually made a decision last night and did

go off this diet and only taking probiotics for now. I see a colon

hydotherapist on Sunday Feb. 17th and she is going to be evaluating

me. When I spoke to her on the phone and made an appt., she thought

my ND was way over loading me. I believe she's on to something. My

body is not handling any of this. In the last few weeks, my

depression, anxiety, stress level and pain were getting worse. I had

entered a real " dark place " that I do not need to be in. My work has

gotten so far behind at work and I had started flying off the handle

with my daughter. I started to be unable to focus on anything and I

had not been like that before. I really felt I was going off the deep

end.....had to stop this and take a break. I feel sooooo much better

this morning. My body can't really digest the probiotics but I want

to continue those and the kefir and yogurt. I'm praying and very

determined to stay positive and get me better.

Hugs,

Cherie

Cherie,

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better! . . .

I hope you're careful about your diet . . . even if you aren't following a strict diet . . . And, when you do start adding supplements that you try one at a time - and do it slowly.

Hopefully once you get some of the toxins out, you'll be able to handle some of the supplements.

When I had my implants, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) was controlling my life. After I had detoxed for a couple years, my chemical sensitivities all but disappeared. . . It was amazing! I hadn't even connected my MCS with my implants!

The way I see it, we are born with an empty glass (some get bigger glasses) . . . As we journey through life, this glass begins filling. . . Eventually the glass gets full and starts splashing about (occasional symptoms) . . . If we don't take notice then, it soon starts overflowing and we become chronically ill.

Detoxing removes some of the stuff in the glass. Done long enough, we have some room to spare. . . as long as we don't overdo it!

Hang in there . . . follow your instincts. You know your body better than anyone else does!

Hugs,

Rogene

I totally agree about the supplements...I think we can take too

many. There is a balance that is the perfect balance. Now I take

very few supplements, but I do take them, and I also take breaks. I

think almost all ND's will sell their patients tons of supplements.

Most people can seem to handle them, but for some reason, WE CANNOT!
