Guest guest
When you get off the steroids, your skin will get worse before it gets better. I would suggest you hang in there. Stay away from the steroids, continue with the Klaron and antibiotics for about 1-2 months. It usually takes a while before the antibiotics kick in. Guest guest
Hi, DesOwen may be bad news because it is a cortisone topical. Matija > Matt, > > I've never heard of the DesOwen. Guest guest
Thanks to all for the thoughts on the DesOwen. What I'm discovering after battling this for two years or so is that this supposedly controllable condition will likely never be controllable for me. The " acne flare-get somewhat better-have another acne flare " seems to have become a permanent pattern no matter what I try, and I've tried a bunch of things as far as topicals and antibiotics. (And this doesn't even mention the constantly red nose and the chin redness, along with dryness and flakes; the forehead is just the prime area of concern.) As I stated, it's just become such a problem and so close to my wedding that I was considering sticking on the DesOwen, once a day only, until then. We'll see. I'll probably see what my Doc #3 has to say, as I do like her and turst her. Thanks, Matt
